The primary role is to identify profitable commercial opportunities within the electrical wholesale market by sourcing/developing products and ranges for distribution to the Electrical Wholesale Market in line with the company’s commercial strategies. The products must comply with the relevant British, European or International Standards and meet all relevant directives (LVD, EMC, RoHS etc.).
You will be responsible for the complete management of the product introduction process from initial conception through to final distribution and ongoing customer support.
Within this role, your responsibilities will also include:
• Developing existing product ranges in line with external influences such as changes in legislation, customer and market demands (including pricing)
• Providing the Technical, Sales and Marketing teams with training and all documentation for new product introduction/promotion and continued customer support
• Supporting our customers to promote new product introduction through training and marketing campaigns
• Managing and developing supplier relationships relating to new and existing product development
