This role is based at a lovely 30+ bedded home in Buxton Derbyshire
Responsible for:
Championing independence and personal choice whilst developing care plans to meet the residents changing physical, social and psychological needs whilst building on the positive reputation of the Home.
Essential Job Functions

Compliance and Quality
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines ensuring all risks are proactively managed.
Professional Nursing
·· Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to our clients;
·· Promote high standards of nursing care for self and your team, actively seeking ways to improve levels of service;
·· Be prepared to manage incidents or emergency situations as they arise and report them to the Home Manager;
·· Report to the Clinical Manager any relevant changes in residents conditions and situations.
Performance and Leadership
·· Take a leadership role for the team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the business;
·· Take an active role in the development of yourself and others ensuring the team’s skill and knowledge levels are able to meet the changing needs of the business;
·· Be responsible for supervising staff, allocating work showing regard to appropriate skill mix, encouraging staff development and ensuring providers policies are followed.
