Are you a confident and passionate KS2 teacher? Do you have experience of working with year 5? Would you like to work in a friendly and welcoming school? Then we have the job for you!

A lovely, 1 form entry school in Taunton are seeking a Year 5 class teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2018 for x2 terms.

The school has a really warm and family orientated feel to it and are looking to add to their fun and friendly team from Jan 18 until the end of the academic year. The current teacher will be on hand for the first few weeks to carry out a handover with the selected candidate. The role is for 5 full days a week but the school have said they can accommodate for you to work 4 full days a week if that suits you. Experience of working with KS2 is essential as well as a passion for teaching. Literacy and Numeracy knowledge must be good. There is a part time TA available for the class and planning is shared within key stages so support is available. The class are really well behaved and the school generally has a nice feel to it.

I have been liaising with the school head teacher who really emphasized the need for a caring and confident teacher who is genuinely passionate about working with this age group. The school is easily accessible from all major motorways.
