A key element of this is customer training which is essential to ensure the effective take up and continued use of products and services. The Trainer works with the Training Team to educate construction industry professionals across the UK and occasionally further afield in concepts such as specification writing and product and software use through training and CPD sessions.
The jobholder will have exceptional communication, public-speaking and presentation skills and the ability to impart knowledge to others in a friendly, confident manner, along with the resilience and patience to train a range of audiences at various levels of understanding. The ability to persuade, motivate and get people listening is essential.
The ability to confidently train complex subjects in creative ways is essential.
A technical capacity to understand and provide training on software products and applications.
The desire to personally continue professional development, attending training courses to maintain currency of knowledge and develop effectiveness.
A flexible approach, positive attitude and enthusiasm for training and development.
Exceptional time-management and organizational skills, working to strict deadlines and coping with any travel logistics required.
The ability to self-manage and work autonomously away from the office.
Relevant training qualifications and knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage.
