This large four form entry primary school have rapidly improved over the past 3 years resulting in a 'Good' Ofsted rating May 2017. Their pupils are well behaved and friendly and learn within a community and family focused environment. To continue to build on this academic success and drive the school forward the Governing Body wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed class teacher.
Your new role
The school are looking to appoint a full time KS2 primary teacher for their year 3 class from April 2018. The job is paid to the teacher scale and both qualified and newly qualified primary teachers are welcome to apply. The school will fully support you through your NQT year and provide you with invaluable experience. The post is offered on a temporary basis to begin with and there is a possibility of it becoming permanent in the near future.
What you'll need to succeed
If you are an innovative and exciting classroom teacher then this is the role for you. As a successful teacher, strong behaviour management skills will need to be shown at interview and recent experience in planning and delivering the current KS2 curriculum within a primary school in the last two years and committed in maintaining high standards.
