Full time Finance Officer needed for Capital Accounts

You will be working with one of the largest housing and social care organisations in the Midlands, providing 13,000 affordable homes and health and social care to 80,000 people and employing nearly 4,000.
Your new role
In some of your main duties you will be expected to:
Liaise with customer departments in order to ensure the Capital Accounting function is meeting the requirements of the Association and to develop a customer service culture across the team.
Together with the Senior Finance Officer - Capital Accounting, ensure that the Association's fixed asset data is accurately reflected on the Association's Nominal Ledger, being updated on a monthly basis within the Management Accounts timetable.
To assist the Senior Finance Officer - Capital Accounting in the preparation of scheme reports to reconcile costs with the Association's In-House Construction function.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience or evidence of a strong understanding of Capital Accounts
Experience of working within a housing association is desirable
Be willing to work closely with the Senior Finance Officer and have the ability to prepare and present reports on Capital Accounting.
