Graduate Conference Producer - Events


  • Extensively research a conference programme
  • Identify and secure potential high-level speakers
  • Design and write a complete conference programme
  • Identify potential sponsors and work with the Sponsorship Manager in securing sponsorship
  • Liaise with speakers throughout the time leading up to the conference, as well as post-conference speaker liaison
  • Work with conference chairs and speakers in promoting the event
  • Closely work with the Marketing Manager to identify appropriate marketing channels and to ensure that the correct market segments are reached
  • Research competitor events and identify their strengths and weaknesses
  • Brief and work closely with the Conference Co-ordinator to ensure that all logistical operations for the conference are going smoothly
  • Monitor the quality of the speakers' presentations
  • Attend the conference on the day

Graduate Conference -l Events

Person specification:

  • Economics, Business, Politics, PPE, History or Geography degree highly desirable
  • Hard Working and strong research skills
  • The ability to grasp and analyse complex information
  • The ability to liaise at board level/director level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Up to date with current affairs
  • Strong interest in business and the economy
  • The ability to work independently
  • Keen to Learn and self-driven
  • 2.1 minimum
  • The ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines and use initiative
  • European second language useful
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
