Network & Telecoms VOIP Engineer, Lead

We are very pleased to be working with our long-term Client whom are looking to expand their IT Infrastructure division with the addition of a Network & Telecoms Services Team Leader/Engineer to oversee multiple Networks & VOIP projects including large-scale £multi-million complex systems as well as smaller adhoc tasks.

As well as offering the opportunity to occasionally work from home & flexible working, this opportunity offers a salary up to £52k and fantastic benefits package offering 38 Days Holidays (plus 2 days extra after 2 years service) + additional 8 days Bank holidays, eligibility to join an excellent pension scheme and It also offers the opportunity to be sponsored to maintain & continue your Cisco qualifications at the organisations expense.

This Network & VOIP Engineer Lead role will be both a hands-on technical & project management capacity - focussing on leading the analysis, design and development of communications as well as managing their key telephony projects. It could ideally suit a Network, VOIP engineer ready to step up into a lead/management role as well someone that is already in this capacity with technical capabilities.

This will involve leading a team of network and telephony, VOIP engineers and managing their daily duties so it is a really fantastic opportunity for a network engineer who is looking to take a step up into a lead role. Your daily responsibilities will be wide ranging and include: *Analysing telephony requirements to then design, implement and deliver VoIP based solutions *Define projects scope and timescale, creating and maintaining the project plan with MS project and produce regular reports *Supervise the day to day duties of the Telephony project team to maximise efficiency

Skills required:

*Strong knowledge of networking communication and VoIP technologies and protocols

*Design and implementation of large Cisco VOIP networks

*You will need a minimum CCNA qualification in related areas such as :-CCNA routing and Switching and/or CCNA Voice and/or CCNA Collaboration

* Capable of leading staff in building Voice & Data Networks with firewalls, VLANs etc

* Excellent communication skills

* Team player

Desirable Skills - any of these would be a plus but not essential as training provided:

*CCNP Voice and/or CCNP Collaboration and/or CCIE - Please note Strong-hands on technical time-served experience would be taken in lieu of CCNP qualifications

*Project management
