Our client is an innovative digitally focused insurance intermediary, pioneering products and services prominently within the personal lines sector. We are looking to recruit an insurance Customer Services Handler to join their expanding team. They are at the cutting edge of software development and have an ever-increasing product portfolio.
Duties will include answering customer service requests over the phone, online and via email, dealing with customer insurance policy amendments, MTA's and cancellations. They will often be the first point of contact that the customer has with the client's brand and as such should be outgoing, full of energy and ready to delight the customer with exceptional service and care. Our clients believe in empowering their people to be able to identify problems, find solutions and implement them themselves.
Full product and skills based training is provided, this is an excellent opportunity to gain skills in a technology focused insurance company and help implement changes within the business to help streamline the customers journey and ensure repeat business. If a candidate can speak fluent French it could be a distinct advantage as they have plans to enter the French insurance market in the near-future.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience plus pension, 20 days holiday + bank holidays which increase with years of service.
Hours of work will be 37.5, between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, candidates need to be flexible to work additional hours upon the business needs and at busy periods (which could result in the employee being required to work one Saturday morning in three for additional pay or leave)

Essential Skills
*General Insurance Customer Experience, dealing with MTA's, cancellations and policy amendments
*Good IT skills, MS office
*Excellent communication skills,
*Professional and approachable telephone manner
*Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
Desirable skills.
*Bi lingual: Fluent French and English
*Experience of the Claims process
