Our client based in Caerphilly is looking to appoint a Marketing Communications Executive to join its successful Commercial business division. The role has a specific focus on direct sales support; product launches, marketing campaigns and all associated marketing collateral for the commercial division.

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the successful candidate must show ability to multitask in a fast and challenging environment, and have a can-do attitude.

Main Responsibilities

  • To drive marketing on product launches / campaigns / campaign planning
  • To liaise with the Commercial creative agency, including monitoring budgets and planning workloads
  • To brief and manage activity with other external designers / agencies
  • Provide proactive support to the Commercial Sales Team and be the first point of contact for Sales Reps
  • Co-ordinate design and print of sales collateral including catalogues, brochures, flyers and adverts (design work done by external agencies)
  • Contribute to social media activity on Twitter and input into LinkedIn marketing activity, including LinkedIn advertising
  • Manage trade and online advertising schedules
  • Write basic copy for use on web, digital marketing and print material
  • Maintaining the Commercial product image library
  • Managing promotional items for sales staff
  • Contribute to the Internal Communications programme

Essential Attributes:

  • Imperative the candidate is a self starter, strong ability to execute on tasks assigned with a 'can do' attitude
  • Strong verbal communications skills and ability to present ideas and information to internal teams
  • Proficient on all Microsoft / office packages
  • Experience in using website CMS software
  • Experience in using Social Media platforms including Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Confident to write basic product copy for web and literature
  • Ability to manage digital campaigns and monitor results

Salary: £23,000
