We're currently seeking an experienced Care Assistants (HCA) to join the Newcross team in Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell, Buckingham, Chicheley, Castlethorpe through the Milton Keynes branch and make a positive impact on the lives of local people.

Caring Role

Through your promotion of independence, you will encourage and support clients in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives. This could include a range of tasks and activities such as personal care, domestic tasks and general activities that allow that individual to live their life in the way they choose.

It is essential that you are able to work in a kind, compassionate and professional manner, putting the service user at the centre of all you do.

It is essential that you are dedicated to promoting the well-being and quality of life of each individual you care for. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, championing their needs and seeing them as more than a care plan. Personal care could include: dressing, washing, toileting and enabling service users to live their daily lives as they choose.

Due to rural client locations and shift times, public transport is not always readily available, therefore access to your own vehicle is desirable.

Your Local Team

Based on Bond Avenue, just off the A5 - your local team operate out of our Milton Keynes office. We supply healthcare professionals to local care establishments up to a 30 mile radius of our office, including Northampton, Bedford, Luton and Aylesbury, inMilton Keynes, Buckingham, Newport Pagnell, Chicheley, Castlethorpe .

Person Specification

To be considered for this care assistant vacancy, you'll need to have the right to live and work in the UK, at least 3 months' previous professional care experience in the UK and at least 2 referees, one of whom can comment on your clinical ability.

You could be required to travel up to 30 minutes to reach client locations, so access to your own transport is desirable.
