Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Credit Controller on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Chesterfield.
This is a large, successful business with a huge amount of scope for growth.

The role requires you to be an effective communicator and be comfortable working within a sociable team who specialise in credit control. You will be responsible for a high volume of customer accounts meaning that you must possess the ability to prioritise and work effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure collection of debt within customer payment terms and minimise overdue debt
- To ensure accurate, immediate allocation of receipts to accounts
- To liaise with Customers and staff to ensure customer queries are resolved promptly
- To highlight any potential debt risk to the Credit Manager
- To provide cover for other Credit Controllers as required
- To complete any other adhoc duties as required by management

The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent knowledge of credit control procedures
- Good communication both written and verbal
- Accurate keyboard computer skills
- Self-motivated, efficient and organised
