A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a growing FMCG brand based in South West London to come on board as a Credit Controller.

As a Credit Controller in this well known FMCG company you will join the team as a pivotal role involved with implementing the AR procedure and streamlining processes. Your main duties will include:

  • Maintaining and reviewing 500+ customer accounts across several territories
  • Reconciliation of said accounts regularly
  • Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, emails, letters within agreed times scales
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate payment plans to redeem the debt
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing
  • Handling multi-currency payment allocations (GBP, USD, CAD, EUR, AUD)
  • Liaising with solicitors if legal proceedings ensue
  • Assisting in creation of efficient and streamlined credit control systems, in a high growth environment
  • Meeting cash and DSO targets set by management
  • Assisting with other transnational and administrative duties

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Numerate and computer literate
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver for strict deadlines, accurately
  • Good organisational skills, ability to manage time well and prioritise tasks
  • Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Good analytic ability and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a busy office in a role that demands high levels of concentration
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes and systems
