Quality Independent Country House Hotel is currently looking for an experienced and creative Junior Sous Chef to join the senior management team, in this two AA-rosette Boutique Hotel and continue to set consistently high standards of food through all outlets. This property caters for both corporate trade, but more focus is on the leisure trade. As Junior Sous Chef you will be responsible for the management and development of a brigade of chefs, encouraging their creative input and ensuring positive succession planning. As Junior Sous Chef you will have full autonomy over menus, control of ordering and stock levels through to achieving the set GP. This site caters for 20-bespoke weddings per year and only has a 50-cover restaurant
You must have worked in AA-rosette or fresh food led quality hotel or restaurant operation to Junior Sous Chef level. You must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of team management and people development. Self starter who can manage their own time A proven chef with a stable CV
