Database Marketing Analyst
The role exists to provide accurate and timely data sets via scheduled ad hoc works requests to enable the successful execution of sales & marketing campaigns.
Essentially you’ll be segmenting parcels of customer centric data (prospecting, renewal, referral, retention etc.) through the use of advanced analytics (data base segmentation).
Prepare, organise and supply various sales channels with relevant customer and/or prospect data from internal sources
Manage external data relationships to deliver optimal prospect data
Ensure accurate, timely delivery to requirements, maintaining marketing database standards as directed
Build an analytical reporting framework to manage and report on conversation ratios from data provided
Ensure all production tasks/jobs are properly audited and documented
Through the use of advanced analysis identify opportunities for applications to be developed to meet future requirements
Project planning; contribute to the project plan to ensure that all 'data driven’ delivery objectives are met.
Educated to degree level in numerate or technical discipline
Experience of managing and extracting complex commercial data from large relational databases (creating extract files etc.)
Relevant experience with industry data tools (SAS, MS Access, Excel etc.)
Strong data reporting and manipulation skills (Business Objects or SAS)
Detailed understanding of database marketing and direct marketing techniques
Knowledge of data warehouse functionality
Excellent communication skills, organised and methodical approach to work
