An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Worker to join our Employability Team in Stockport, Greater Manchester on a full time, permanent basis. This is an important role in which you will actively engage with individual participants, ensuring that through the delivery of a multi-channel, multi-agency and multi-place service delivery model, the participant is enabled and empowered to successfully complete their personal journey into, and progression within the working environment. The role includes: Being the named single point of contact for coordinating and sequencing services on behalf of their individual participants. Working with participants to progress them on their journey towards employment and overcoming their work, skills health and personal circumstances barriers to ultimately support participants into sustainable work. Building strong and positive relationships with participants, enabling them to make well informed choices and appropriately diagnose their areas of support, leading to the joint development of an action plan of support intervention Utilisation of a multi-channel platform where, through a range of digital, video and telephony capability, participants are provided with the flexibility to decide how, when and the frequency with which they engage. Utilising IngeusHub as a single point of digital access for all participants. About you: You must have the following skills and experience: Ability to build rapport with, inspire, motivate and challenge participants. Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, including health conditions and disabilities. Ability to employ emotional intelligence in handling challenging situations. Strong understanding of the employment services/welfare to work philosophy and the needs and challenges of the job market for long term unemployed. Knowledge of the labour market, wider provision and stakeholders local to the area in which you are applying. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively network to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally. High level digital literacy skills, and data accuracy skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and web-based communication technologies. Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a busy schedule/workload under pressure. A strong commitment to personal and professional ongoing development. Ability to utilise technology successfully to drive forward participant solutions that engage participants in a meaningful and beneficial way. Ability to follow and comply with contractual requirements. Ability to adapt to a changing work environment. Why join us?
