IT Support 1st and 2nd Line Analyst Job Title: IT Support 1st and 2nd Line Analyst Location: Rochester Salary up to £32,000 + benefits + Out Of Hours Support Experience: IT Support / Firewalls / Routers / Servers Our client is a market leading and fast moving Telecoms and IT industry success story. They are dynamic, growing, and provide specialist business to business Telecommunications, VoIP, Mobile Communication, IT and Alarm Monitoring Solutions. A fantastic opportunity has now arisen to join their IT Support team in a mixed and varied 1st & 2nd Line Support role. The successful candidate will have a Help Desk background, strong skills in routing, firewalls, servers and be keen to learn new technologies. You will have excellent communication skills and be flexible. The role is based from their Rochester office and you will need a full UK driving license / car Position Overview: As the successful 2nd Line Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining the interface between customers and IT operations and our ARC, ensuring functions meet and exceed service support standards. You will provide a single point of contact for all service affecting requests and incidents. You will work within a team to develop and operate systems for detecting, recording and resourcing service affecting incidents, as well as working on the management of the LAN and WAN networks and escalation. Essential Requirements: *Experience working in a similar role, in a busy environment. *Proven ability to learn new and complex software applications. *Networking experience across firewalls, routers and switches. *Experience across Windows Server admin 2008-2016 and Active Directory. *Experience with Office 365. *Capable of communicating clearly, concisely and confidently with a large variety of people. *Pro-active and innovative approach to problem-solving and the ability to multi-task.
