ERP Project Manager
ERP Project Manager An established IT solutions provider who offer a wide range of IT related services, currently have an opportunity for a ERP Project Manager to join their team based in Handforth, Cheshire. The Role The ERP Service Director role is born from the increased number of customer projects currently being undertaken and planned. The purpose of this role is to manage a variety of ERP projects to an exceptionally high standard ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to the customer’s high satisfaction. As the ERP Service Director you will require the following skills and experience:- Key Responibilities: • Ensure that realistic project plans are developed and agreed with customers to enable us to set and meet their expectations • Ensure that all project delivery conforms to the company's implementation methodology • Optimise the profitability of projects for the company • Identify and communicate the skills, experience, personal attributes and manpower requirements for the successful delivery of projects in advance of requirements to enable the appropriate resources to be allocated or sourced • Organise resources and ensure that actions are taken to ensure that delivery stays on-plan • Manage changes to the project through the appropriate change control mechanisms • PM 100% responsible for the financial management of a project • Consider and provide input to management to enable the development and ongoing improvement on the services that we are able to offer to our clients • Maintain reporting metrics to enable management to review the effectiveness and progress of projects • Escalate potential problems to company management as soon as these are identified. Key Skills: • Strong understanding and implementation experience in ERP projects and software development projects • At least 2 years in an ERP Project Manager role • Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills • Aptitude to work on your own and as part of a team • Project management skills (PRINCE2 desireable) • Enthusiasm and drive • High level of attention to detail • Ability to communicate using standard project management tools • Strong business acumen • Ability to travel throughout the UK when required About the Company 'We are based in Handforth, near Manchester.
