My client, a major player within the Manchester pensions market, is looking to recruit an experienced Pensions Administration Manager to head up a newly created team within the business, formed due to new business wins. You will be a positive team manager who can get the best out of your staff, whilst still maintaining excellent client relationships. Reporting to the Head of Pensions Operations, there will be 5 Team Leader reporting directly into this post, who look after 50 people between them. Ensuring the delivery of a high quality pensions administration service to clients and members, your areas of responsibility would include: Deputising for Head of Pensions Operations Management of administration team including recruitment, retention, appraisal development, training, disciplinary issues and employee relations Monitor and maintain the quality and quantity of the teams output Account management / client relationship management Act as source of technical knowledge for the team Proactively look for initiatives to improve upon the efficiency of the Pensions Administration team You could be an experienced Team Leader, looking for the next step in your career, or in a similar position at present and not getting what you deserve from your current firm. Ideally you will be QPA / PMI / RPC qualified or working towards. You will also be experienced in staff selection, motivation and disciplinary action, and will also be regarded as a good problem solver, with excellent client relationship management skills. In return, the successful applicants can expect an industry top quartile salary (£38,000 - £55,000), with excellent benefits, full exam sponsorship and support, and real 1st line management promotion prospects for the future.
