CNC Setter / Operator (Fanuc) £16.17 p/h (including shift allowance) & overtime, BUPA, excellent pension, excellent bonus, 24 day holiday Cheshire Overview: So you're a CNC professional who is looking to take the "next steps" in your career. This role is a 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern. The £16.17 p/h figure includes your shift allowance at 36.75 hours per week. What are we looking for? Setting and operating CNC 4/5 axis HMCs; Setting and adjusting tools and adjusting offsets Inspecting work produced using measuring equipment to Engineering drawings and reporting any quality defects to the Manager / Manufacturing Process Engineers; Daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on machines, including maintaining good housekeeping standards and reporting any issues promptly to supervision; Optimising efficiencies through reduced set-up and cycle times, plus tool life monitoring; Deburring, cleaning, final inspection and completion of all tractability documentation; Communication of issues to management team and other shifts; About you: For the CNC Toolsetter / Operator (Fanuc) you will have a strong experience of setting 4/5 axis HMCs in a machine told shop, with experience of Fanuc essential. Experience of Fanuc programming language required, OSP language desirable Experience of setting 4/5 axis HMCs (preferably Okumas, Cincinnatis or Makinos) essential Experience tool setting with Nikon or Zoller desirable Experience of reading technical drawings essential Knowledge of setting specialised tools; form tools, roller burnishing etc. The company and culture: These are a multinational company and world leaders in what they do / manufacture with sites all over the world.
