Electronic Production Engineer
Electronic Production Engineer August International Ltd invites applications for an vacancy of Electronic Production Engineer to work as project engineer for studying production methods to produce a prototype of a smart wristband with a fall detection feature and managing the process for mass production after the prototype successfully designed and tested. You will be expected to work for the tasks: · study of proposed and alternative methods regarding the design, PCBA layout, core parts and cost; · recommend preferred technology, prepares drawings and specifications for the smart wristband; · propose production and process control methods to maximize the efficiency; · liaise with our supply and manufacturing partners for materials purchases, PCBA production and device assembly to ensure a steady flow of supplies and completion of product manufacturing; · prepare product testing criteria and conducting. Requirements for skills and experiences: · with a university master or PhD degree in electronics engineering, physics and automation control; · a minimum three year experiences working as a research and development officer undertaking a study for developing a computer algorithm for a wearable electronic device; · knowledge of digital chipset and technology applicable for wearable electronic device, ideally a smart health wristband; · understand multi-sensor data fusion techniques and machine learning algorithms for wearable electronic devices; · understand the structure of hardware and software for an electronic devices for consumers; · understand business culture in China and speak Chinese; · ideally with experiences working together with manufacturing partners in China. The company offers: · The salary will be in a range of £28 - 32.5k depending on experiences and skills; · An arrangement for receiving performance pay and annual bonus; · Workplace pension with a contribution from the company.
