Field Service Engineer Area: North East Basic: Up to £31K + Company car and other benefits This could be your opportunity to join a world leading organisation that provides business intelligence and capital equipment to companies worldwide. This role would be a Field Service Engineer role, with 5 days on the field dealing with client queries. Role: - Installations and repairs and maintenance of hardware as well as some software installations. - Providing a high standard of operator training and remote support. - Try to solve issues via remote solutions as much as possible. - Maintain stock level in order to achieve frequent 1st time repairs. - Seek opportunities to promote products and services. - Make sure the work done coincides with regulations. Company: * More than 800,000 customers in the corporate, public and professional sectors. * A direct presence in 15 countries * More than 5,500 employees * Annual sales of €918.5m in 2008 and €913.1m in 2009. * UK and European Market leader Candidate Requirements: - Experience as a Field Service Engineer for 1 or more years. - It would be desirable for someone to have experience in the capital equipment/document management arena. - Used to working to measured KPI targets. - Experience working on IT Networks, LAN, Wi-Fi. - Have knowledge of software products as well as hardware. - Excellent telephone manner with good verbal and written communication skills. - Full UK driving licence. - Exceptional planning, organising and customer facing skills.
