Hays Recruitment are working in partnership with a public sector organisation in the Birmingham area to recruit a Support Technician.
Our client is looking to recruit a Support Technician to work with a team of analysts to provide first and second line support to their customers for all AV and IT services. The team operates within the ITIL Service Management framework. In order to apply you must have experience in a similar technical support role, including:
- Troubleshooting and supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products, desktop and laptop hardware
- Working knowledge of Audio Visual technologies
- Knowledge of Apple, Linux and mobile operating systems
As this is a friendly and collaborative team with a positive culture you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication. The job requires you to work a rotating shift pattern of 7am-3pm and 11am to 7pm and also requires you to wear a uniform that will be provided. Applicants must already have full rights to work in the UK as there is no sponsorship available.
