Our client, a growing practice based in the City has an opportunity for a newly qualified or finalist ACCA /ACA semi-senior accountant to take care of all year-end adjustments and reviews and process all HMRC and companies house submissions.

Reporting to the principal, this is pivotal role within the practice, which will enable you to build on your experience of a wider client base. You will report to the owner who has a background in corporate finance and from whom, you will learn and expand your accounting and commercial awareness.

Key duties for this semi-senior accountant role:

  • Client Bookkeepeing
  • Review, adjust and finalise limited company accounts prior to filing at Companies? House and HMRC
  • Prepare, review and submit corporation tax returns to HMRC
  • Review VAT returns
  • Carry out financial planning, analyses and modelling

Key skills required for this semi-senior accountant role:

  • Bookkeeping and accounting to TB
  • Qualified/finalist ACA / ACCA or equivalent
  • Current/recent knowledge of corporation tax and companies house submission
  • Good basic Excel
