Compliance Manager £40,000 - £45,000 Pro Rata, Six Months Fixed Term - Full Time Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, language training, workforce education and student recruitment. Navitas UK is seeking an exceptional individual to provide compliance service provision to the UK College and SAE network. As Compliance Manager (CM) you will help to provide compliance service provision to the Navitas UK and SAE college network to facilitate a culture that is responsive to change and adaptive to compliance pressures on the network. We will look to you to maintain sound working relationships with the college staff so as to ensure that our compliance priorities and objectives are met. The CM will support the UK compliance function as an integral part of the corporate service provision. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Education: A Bachelors degree or a professional qualification of an equivalent or higher standard and, a commitment to the improvement of the education of young people and the ability to inspire in staff a love of learning Experience: Considerable experience in either a Higher Education setting, or relevant compliance framework. Practical Experience and Knowledge: Knowledge of Tiers 2 and 4 of the Home Office Immigration Rules are desirable. Communications: Excellent oral, written and inter-personal communications skills in dealing with individuals and groups at alllevels. Managing Pressure: Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure Managing Change: Vision, creativity, motivation and sensitivity in developing and implementing change Policy: The ability to contribute to the development, planning and implementation of an organisation’s strategy and policies Governance: an understanding of private sector values and their applicability to an organisation such as Navitas Limited Analytical Ability, Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking: The ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly and accurately and to think strategically, formulate decisions and make recommendations as well as experience in developing and implementing strategic plans Excellent people management skills Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
