Our client is a phenomenal business success story, continually and quickly growing from scratch, for over 20 years, and now a lean, highly profitable £100m turnover business - a very innovative, technology-driven service provider employing approx. 250 people at its Newcastle headquarters.

We enjoy a fantastic working relationship with the firm, having supplied many staff, and are now looking for a Junior/Mid-Level Front End Developer to join its large technology team that’s responsible for the delivery of a multi-award winning software platform which currently services over 20% of its UK market.

Working closely with in-house designers and in the front end team, you will be exposed to an array of exciting technologies that the business uses to drive its market position. You’ll gain exposure to the company’s current systems while developing your own core skillset, with future opportunity to move into the main development team when experience has been gained.

With a strong interest in the digital technologies and continuous personal development, programming responsibilities and knowledge (including solid entry level industry experience) needed include:

  • JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery
  • AngularJS
  • Bootstrap and other frameworks

Ideally, you’ll also possess the following additional skills:

  • Modular javascript
  • Experience of working with a content delivery network (CDN)
  • Analytical skills
  • Learning and understanding new technologies
  • Ability to work in a team or autonomously
  • Professional attitude to work
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Basic salary is £18k-19k dependant on experience. In addition, after 3 months probationary period, a bonus scheme of £6k pa (£500 per calendar month) will be introduced.
