Marketing Executive -Events
Leading media company operating in the trade, export & project finance, supply chain and commodity finance markets offering clients a variety of products including data, news, reports and events.
Within five years the company has managed to dominate a large percentage of the market share through its innovative and highly interactive events, unique data and insight reports.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and will have full ownership of their marketing campaigns and strategies. The Marketing Executive will be expected to have strong written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in a commercial marketing role. Day-to-day responsibilities will include data research and analysis, learning about each of the markets through reading, writing marketing copy for email campaigns, managing the website, promotional material and social media accounts. Furthermore, the Marketing Executive will be managing the relationships with key media partners and clients.
The objective of this role is to help generate leads for the sales team in order to increase delegate attendance to events and interest in other products such as data and subscriptions.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a commercial marketing role (preferably in events or subscriptions)
- Previous experience of salesforce and email marketing software is essential (previous experience in Pardot is a huge advantage)
- Excellent time management and communication skills (verbal and written)
- The desire to work on copy that will contribute to making the trade finance market fun and innovative
- A can-do attitude and being proactive
