This is an exciting role for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a food services company in Epsom. The role reports into the Finance Director with three direct reports, including two commercial analysts.

-Provides business analysis, contract analysis and reporting to the entire company
-Proactively analyse the commercial integrity of all departments of the business and -present data to assist in the development of the relevant business area
-Implement and maintain strategic pricing to ensure it is commercially viable including the creation and maintenance of all pricing models and matrices
-Calculate pricing for tenders and analyse proposals for profitability ensuring the commercial authorisation and risk assessment process is adhered to
-Analyse fluctuation in selling or buying prices to monitor and report against profitability.
-Meet ad hoc requests for business data and reports and provide day to day business analysis
-Calculate all company sales target on a monthly basis, quarterly and annual basis
-Specify new reporting requirements with Business Functions
-Responsibility for the development and implementation of management information system and reporting suite
-Manage and co-ordinate the contractual legal process ensuring adherence to Company -Guidelines and Rules of Procedure

-Work with the Finance Director using business knowledge and commercial acumen to strategically analyse the business, interpret and create a trend analysis based on both information received and commercial assumption
-Along with the other members of the Analysis Team work on Analysis and Reporting projects across all departments
-Work with management team to ensure accurate relevant reports are developed to meet business requirements
-Reacting to requests for business information and reports
-Acting as an early warning system to senior managers regarding trends and sales patterns developing within the business.
-Communication and presentation of reports and analysis to all levels throughout the organisation, from field sales management to director level.
-Report on team KPI’s on a monthly basis

The ideal candidate will have an analytical and commercial finance background, having the ability to provide commercial and business analysis. You will ideally have previous experience managing staff and experience in the food service industry.
