The role is focused on providing excellent customer service for clients and providing strong financial control via the company's accounting processes.
Profile

Experienced accounts clerk role with full responsibility for the main cashier functions and the Sales Ledger.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

*Daily cash movements and entries onto Access Accounts and Travelink
*Sterling bank account reconciliations
*Reconciliation of company credit card statements and monitor authorisation procedure.
*Monitor direct debit payments
*Management of online and manual credit card transactions
*Client liaison for Sales Ledger queries
*Client travel insurance sales and enquiries
*Credit control for Sales Ledger
*Processing of post-holiday leaders expenses & funds
*Payment of Travel Agent fees
*Provide back-up and support for other functions with the Accounts team, including purchase ledger.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Previous experience of working within an Accounts team together with all-round knowledge & experience of Cash Book, Sales & Nominal Ledger work.
Basic/intermediate Excel skills.
Trained to required competency levels in compliance with travel insurance sales regulations.
