The Management Services focus is to 'enhance the quality of people?s lives in retirement' by providing the best possible 'lifestyle' and estate management services. About the role The principle responsibilities of the role are to: Oversee half yearly Service Charge, Ground Rent and Parking billing cycles plus monthly billing of meals, personal care, domestic assistance and other charges. Ensure that the Company?s debt collection policy is adhered to. Oversee the preparation of monthly Debtors analysis, present meaningful summaries at monthly Debtors meetings to highlight performance and any key issues to Senior Management and to circulate minutes and actions on a timely basis. Ensure that Direct Debit collections are made in accordance with the lease and within the required timescales. Ensure that queries from both homeowners and internal customers are resolved on a timely basis. Oversee the setting up of new residents and Direct Debit mandates. Managing the annual Billing & Collections timetable to ensure that all key tasks are adequately covered. Develop the Billing & Collections team, hold regular one-to-ones and come up with relevant objectives at annual development reviews which are aligned with those of the wider Group. Contribute to discussions on process improvements within the Billing & Collections cycle. Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external audit, ensuring compliance and implementing any audit points within the required timescale. Support the wider Management Services team as directed by the Finance Manager. Benefits In addition to an attractive salary, benefits include a personal pension, life assurance and medical screening. Hours of work 37 hours per week, 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 - 17:00 on Friday. About you Billing and Credit Control experience at a Team Leader/Supervisory level, ideally in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Flexible approach to working as required by business demands. Able to solve problems. Excellent communication skills Able to rapidly develop good working relationships, and work across organisational boundaries. Maintains a positive and ?can do? approach.
