INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (Proactive)- FULHAM, LONDON I am currently working with a leading provider in IT solutions who provide solutions based on leading technologies. They have offices in Poole, London and Manchester and are the only UK company to hold Gold Partnerships with SAP (Business One), Citrix and Microsoft. With over 75 experienced and passionate IT specialists working in their sate-of-the art, customer designed technology offices they are now looking to expand their team. I am seeking an Infrastructure Support Technician (Proactive) to join an established technical Helpdesk team. The role will involve focusing on, but not limited to, the proactive management of their customers existing and new Infrastructures, identify areas for improvement and implement relevant changes to ultimately improve the end user customer experience. Experience: - 5 years experience working in a technical support capacity, managing their own queues of support incidents and working to defined SLAs. - Degree level education - Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Attention to detail and ability to think laterally under pressure. Technical Skills: -A professional and confident manner -A strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policies -Understanding of anti-virus products and technologies -Understanding of network infrastructure appliances such as routers, switches and wireless network points.
