About the role

Due to rapid growth and internal progression, Robert Half Financial Services are working with one of Europe's leading credit providers for the role of Assistant Management Accountant. My client has a need to hire an ambitious graduate to its accounting team, based out of their Mayfair office. Joining a growing team of 4 other fund accountants and reporting directly into the fund controller, they are looking for bright ambitious candidates who are looking for a role they can progress in. One of Europe's leading credit providers, investing across senior and subordinated debt, managing and advising approximately $5 billion of capital.

* Managing accounts payable process for LLP, liaise with creditors ensure that all invoices are reviewed, verified and settled

- Maintaining our online expense and invoice management system on Concur;

- Fixed assets register management

- Assisting in building ad-hoc reports

- Managing payments and cash receipts process (incl. Payments for LLP and for the Funds)

- Reconciling cash books for all bank accounts

- Maintaining the relationships with bank

- Maintaining and posting LLP and LLC journals in the general ledger, i.e. Exchequer

- Liaising with fund accounting team on management fee income reconciliations as well as intercompany recharges across the PSC group

- Assisting in annual statutory accounts for the LLP to UK GAAP and LLC to US GAAP and managing the audit process

- Assisting with the annual budget/forecast for the group including calculation of management fees and application of transfer pricing rules to related entities;

- Preparing monthly LLP management reports, i.e. group cash flow forecast and management fees report

- Assisting with quarterly LLP accounts for submission to FCA and other periodic FCA returns

- Preparing VAT Returns

About You

The successful candidate for the role of Assistant Management Accountant is likely to be training ACA, CIMA or ACCA. A minimum of 1 year experience gained in a financial services or assets management environment is preferred. The candidate would be a strong team player, be flexible, highly motivated, have good attention to detail, strong Excel skills and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have 2:1 from a top 30 university with C's or better at A Level.

About the package on offer

Salary: £30-£35k

Bonus: discretionary payable on or around 31 December- 20% average

Benefits: to include comprehensive private medical insurance, group critical illness cover, long term disability cover, death in service and pension benefits

Holidays: 25 days per annum
