They aim to do this by delivering superior care to every single child, through engaging, meaningful play, outstanding teaching, and bespoke extended learning activities.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Nursery Room Leader.

This role is perfect for an experienced Nursery Room Leader looking for an exciting new opportunity to help shape and establish an independent provider with a stimulating home away from home environment. The role will be both office and room based, working with the Nursery Manager to help shape the vision as well as be involved in business strategic decisions.

The salary starts at £20,000 and is negotiable based on experience.

Personal Specification:

  • Level 3 and above Early Years Education and Childcare qualification
  • At least 3 years' experience in Nursery Management (Recent experience preferred)
  • Able to lead and manage professional childcare teams, to deliver high standards and results.
  • Knowledge of Record Keeping and Key Worker Systems
  • A rigorous understanding of the EYFS and the ability to fully implement all of its requirements
  • A clear understanding of Ofsted's requirements and current legislation
  • Understanding of financial budgeting
  • Adaptable - able to work hands on and in an office setting
  • Ability to write clear reports and communicate clearly in spoken and written form.

Nursery Practitioner - level 3 -Full and Part time

Job Description:

  • To be responsible for the development of children in the Early Years age range.
  • To provide interesting learning opportunities following the EYFS.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress ensuring correct records are maintained.
  • Ensure the expected high standards of child care are upheld at all times.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to safeguarding the children.

Personal Specification:

  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Experience of working within a nursery setting.
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ Childcare.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Able to promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors.
  • To provide leadership in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage to other practitioners within the setting.
  • Able to frequent observe, monitor and track children's progress.
  • A clear understanding of Ofsted's requirements and current legislation.

Key Attributes in Potential Candidate:

  • Able to work full time (40-hour per week, on rota).
  • To undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined from time-to-time by the Manager or in the Manager's absence.
  • Ability to plan and implement a creative and engaging pre-school curriculum.
  • A passionate outlook towards children and their development.
  • A Sound understanding of child development and of children's needs.
  • Ability to work with parents/carers and to encourage their involvement.
  • To be involved in out of working hours' activities, e.g. training, planning meetings, monthly staff meetings, parents evening, fundraising events etc.
  • Commitment to and understanding of diversity, inclusion and equality.

The salary is between £16, 000-£20,000 dependant on experience and qualifications, to be discussed at interview stage
