What do they need?
A leader in IT, to take-on a Head of IT Operations & Service position and be responsible for leading IT Operations & Service Delivery across the entire organisation.

The Head of IT Operations & Service will have direct management responsibility for a team of 70, accountable for services supplied by internal IT Teams and 3rd party service suppliers.

You will have 3 primary goals -

1) Delivering a £10M+ IT Infrastructure Programme
2) Managing the IT Service Map for on-going IT costs of £10M+
3) Leading and developing a 24x7 IT Operations Department spanning 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support

What will I be doing?
Leading IT Operations and Service Delivery across the entire IT estate, which will include IT Operations, Support and Release Management of applications & infrastructure
Providing a support structure for all customer-facing contact centres, back-office and ecommerce systems
Managing the delivery of support and operation of the IT infrastructure and technology - voice, data, networks, data centre services and service desk
You will also be responsible for managing internal & external teams to maximise on-going reliability and improve service levels

What will I bring?
Proven experience in a senior IT position across an enterprise IT service delivery function, with 1000+ system users
Ability to formulate IT strategy and deliver
The experience and ability to manage a large IT service delivery roadmap, IT transformations and a 24x7 IT operations set-up
Proven competence in implementing robust and successful ITIL-compliant service delivery processes
Ability to drive service level agreements and improve performance across service levels
Exposure to continuous service improvement and process design
Experience of working with outsourced service delivery partners
