PTHP Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery
£19.21 per hour plus £4.60 holiday pay
Blackburn College is passionate about innovative teaching and learning practice and committed to growing and developing our provision in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). Our facilities are some of the best in the area with environmental technology workshops, mechanical workshop, electrical laboratories, a mock bungalow, CAD facilities and a real life plant room.
With a level 3 qualification or above (or equivalent) in Carpentry and Joinery and extensive practical experience of working in a related industry you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to delivery, planning, development and student support. You will teach on a range of courses at leve1 to level 3 including full time, part time and apprentices.
We are looking for a committed lecturer to be part of the team and teach and assess on a range of courses within the area of Carpentry & Joinery. The courses range from level 1 to level 3 including full time, part time and apprentices, and subjects will include fitted interiors, bench and site joinery.
You must have a level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery, recognised Assessor qualifications and also a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
