We work closely with Product Management and Technology to provide leadership on portfolio selection and prioritisation, project/program delivery, change management and benefits management. We take a holistic and evolving view of how to do this best, drawing upon the latest insights in Agile delivery, Lean project governance and data driven product development. The role of Project Manager plays a critical part in the Elsevier PMO, leading end-to-end delivery of one or more technology-focused projects. What you’ll do Work with the Business Owner to drive out the Business Case to approval Be accountable for delivering projects to their agreed success criteria, including managing change and the transition to BAU Manage stakeholders to ensure continued alignment of the project with the business case and relevant business unit strategy Act as an ambassador in terms of successful project start up and delivery culture, and everything related to the creation of lasting business outcomes from our investment project choices. Skills you’ll have: Project Management experience that demonstrates your drive for results, with end-to-end responsibility for major software development projects of minimum 12 months in duration and budgets of over $500k. Experience putting together business cases working with a variety of stakeholders Experience working with a mix of project delivery approaches, i.e. Agile, iterative and hybrid approaches Proven track record of managing complex and senior stakeholder interactions with a diverse group Experience working with formal project methodologies (e.g. APM, PMI) and associated accreditation Experience of managing major third-party suppliers We’re a truly global company.
