National Careers Service Advisor - Bristol Permanent & Full Time £19,064 £24,087 per annum, depending on experience Bristol (with some travel - must have own transport) This role will be mainly field based however it may include some event work and cover within JCP's organisations. CMD Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a National Careers Service Adviser to provide career advice and guidance using a variety of methods to support customers through to a job or learning outcome. You should ideally possess a qualification in education e.g. PETTLs, CETTLs, Award in Education, TAQA or Train the Trainer. An IAG at level 4 is ideal but not essential (however this will affect the starting salary). Duties: Provide careers advice to adults via a range of methods including fact to face; telephone; email; group work and other digital means to help them to achieve work or learning goals. Support customers to develop career management skills through a range of activities. Work with customers to support their progression into, learning, work or work progression. Work with a variety of organisations to generate referrals to meet targets. Deliver workshops to community groups to support them on the path to learning or employment. Record all interactions with customers in a timely manner to meet contract deadlines. Operate from a variety of locations. Meet all standards for quality of service; safeguarding, information and data security, and any other contract requirements. Attend meetings and training as required. Ensure adherence to the company's equalities and diversity policy and actively embed equality and diversity into careers advice and guidance and all delivery activity. Other duties commensurate with the level and nature of the post. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who can bring the following; Experience in delivery of careers advice to adults, individually or in groups, employed and unemployed IAG Qualification An Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1 or D32 and D33) (Desirable) Full clean driving licence and use of a vehicle Enhanced DBS Clearance Experience in delivery of careers advice to adults, individually or in groups, employed and unemployed If this role sounds of interest to you, please forward your CV.
