Job Title: Systems Engineer Job Location: Warwick, West Midlands, UK Job Salary: £36k-£45k per annum (dependent upon experience) What to expect as the Systems Engineer Product Development Engineering is the key technical department for the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer. There are three parts to it: Attribute Quality and Process, Vehicle Integrity Team and Vehicle Engineering Management. Working here, you'll give our vehicles their unique characteristics. It's all part of creating vehicles that delight customers and set us apart from the competition. As Systems Engineer you'll report directly to the System Leader. You'll be responsible for the definition and development of Hardware and Software interfaces between the Intelligent Vehicle Initiative (IVI) headunit and other Engine control units (ECUs). You'll lead the delivery and validation of these interfaces to meet project schedules - this will involve reviewing the suppliers' system architecture and ensuring the design meets the quality standards required. Work alongside our suppliers, you'll lead issue investigation with regards to system and software stability issues. For this a detailed knowledge of investigation techniques such as 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, and Fault Tree Analysis will be required What you'll need as the Systems Engineer As Systems Engineer you'll be degree educated in Electronics or a related subject, and have knowledge of developing products for automotive environments, as well as a detailed knowledge of automotive embedded operating systems.
