Reference: BRLB16 Job Title: Lighting Controls Specialist Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £40k basic salary Brief Job and Company Description • Our client is a European Manufacturer in the Lighting Industry with a fantastic range of products • This client is regarded as a leading manufacturer of interior and exterior lighting, both for the quality of products and service they deliver • The company offer lighting solutions, including lighting controls, and can offer a bespoke product service for clients • As a company, they conduct the full site survey, lighting design, supply and on-site commissioning Key Responsibilities • This role is for a Lighting Controls Specialist, based from the Manchester office • In this role, you will be the Lighting Controls specialist, supporting the external sales team • As the technical specialist for these products, the sales team will call on you for technical support and information regarding Lighting Controls • In this role, you will be an important part of the sales process, both pre-sale and post-sale, meeting with clients in sales meetings • You will carry out site visits, initial site surveys, client meetings, design layout and some on-site commissioning if required • It is essential that you give feedback to the Product Development department, this will assist with the growth of the product portfolio and company offering • You will be speaking with and meeting various clients, M&E Consultants, Architects & Designers and Contractors • As part of the role, you will also carry out some schematic design work, using lighting design software For this position you MUST have the following • It is essential that you are an experienced professional with a high level of technical knowledge in Lighting Controls • You must be a very good technical understanding and working knowledge of wired and wireless Lighting Control systems • It is essential have a true passion for the lighting and the lighting controls industry • You need to have strong communication skills and have a good level of experience speaking with M&E Consultants, Architects & Designers and Contractors • The ability to be • Our client requires anyone applying to have experience of lighting design software such as Dialux or Relux • A full UK driving licence is essential For this position you will IDEALLY have the following • You will ideally have formal qualifications in the Lighting Industry, however this is not essential • Sales experience would be an advantage to your application but is not an essential requirement What you get in return: • Up to £40k basic • Company Bonus Scheme • Mobile Telephone • Laptop • 20 Days Annual Leave Plus Bank Holidays • Contributory Pension Scheme • Additional Staff Benefits
