The Client: Our client is part of a National Facilities Management organisation, with additional design and build capabilities, operating out of numerous office bases in the UK. The business has been trading for almost twenty years, developing from an independent Facilities Management operation into a fully fledged TFM and Design and Build Contractor, servicing blue chip accounts across the UK. As the business continues to grow and develop new relationships, we are assisting their M&E Division in the recruitment of several new engineers. In the South East we are seeking a multi skilled engineer with Air Conditioning and Commercial Gas capabilities - AC being the primary objective. The client base is comprised of large retail, corporate commercial bodies, educational establishments, property management agents and other large scale commercial property owners. Some of the UK's leading corporations utilise their services for Total Facilities Management Contracts and Consultancy Services. The Role: This will be part of the Technical Services group within the Group and will help to strengthen the HVAC team in the South East of England, where the organisation has numerous long standing relationships. The successful candidate will provide maintenance services, cover breakdowns and repair work, provide some rare installation services and generally maintain long standing relationships with property owners and managers in the region, ensuring all HVAC plant, air conditioning systems and heating systems are serviced and maintained to the appropriate standards. The role is mobile and may require some time outside of the local area. Core Functions: Servicing and Repairing commercial Air Conditioning Systems - notably VRV's, VRF's, Splits, Multi Splits, small Chillers and some refrigeration equipment. Ideally, we would like someone that can also turn their hand to Commercial Heating Systems and boilers. Fault finding Repair Commissioning Installation General maintenance checks on alternative mechanical equipment - AHU's FCU's etc as and when required. Occasional assistance with plumbing and pipework The Key Skill Requirements We are seeking experienced personnel with a solid work history and a proven track record in Air Conditioning and Commercial heating - good first fix record and excellent technical knowledge of HVAC systems. The engineer MUST be FGAS Certified with a relevant AC/Refrigeration qualification and suitable experience. Ideally, the engineer will also be Gas Safe / ACS Certified across all gas commercial and industrial equipment, applications and installations. Certificates should include COCN1, CODNCO1, CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1.
