This global group, one of the leading manufacturers in pumping systems and solutions worldwide, are currently looking for an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join their sales team and provide technical, commercial and administrative support. As an Internal Sales Engineer will have experience of working in an Internal Sales role from an Engineering Manufacturing background. The Company:- Established over 50 years Manufacturing facilities globally in the US, Europe, Korea, Czech Republic One of the world`s largest manufacturers in its field, providing solutions to a variety of industry applications including packaging, conveying, heat treatment, distillation, lifting, drying etc. Job Purpose: As an Internal Sales Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales support pipeline. This will include advice to customers on the technical specifications, managing your sales funnels, daily close contact on a professional sales level with our external sales team, contributing to the sales forecast and generally ensuring the smooth running of the sales process in general. Job Duties: - Handling technical enquiries and advising customers on product selection. - Provide a proactive approach to supporting customers including regular follow-up and general liaison. - Compiling and selecting technical information - Compiling quotations - Managing quotations and your own workflow in general - Contribute to sales forecasts - Convert your enquiries into orders - Liaise with our engineering department as necessary to specify equipment specifications, company standards and product developments. - Deliver daily/weekly targets in line with sales KPIs and deliver sales development targets in line with longer term strategies set. - Over time develop a working knowledge of the company products and services in order to provide detailed guidance to our customers. - Proactively deal with comments and complaints from customers as they arise. Assisting with the investigation and recording of the issue and proactively providing a solution. Reporting problems to the management team. - Ensure that all personnel activities are in-line with companies standard operating procedures, QA and H&S policies and to constantly review / challenge the process with a view to continual improvement. Experienced candidate: Experienced Internal Sales Engineer from an Engineering Manufacturing background Degree or A Level quailed ideally within a Mechanical, Manufacturing or Engineering discipline, would consider a Graduate looking to take their first step into an Engineering Manufacturing company Above average interpersonal skills with enthusiasm A natural understanding of the sales process Customer focused Product and application knowledge within a technical discipline Ability to adapt to change and willingness to learn Able to work alone or within a team Self motivated, sales driven
