IT Technical Support

Overview:

We are looking for skilled Support Technicians with experience of support and maintenance of IT infrastructure, desktops, network and servers. The Support Technician will also be involved in floorwalking and telephony systems.

Key Responsibilities:

*Ad hoc hands-on support across all levels including 1st and 2nd line.
*Troubleshooting and admin of Windows and Exchange Server (2010/13/16/365).
*Support and manage SQL Server environment.
*Responsible for TCP/IP networking.
*Maintain, monitor and update telephony systems.
*Diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical and application related problems.

Essential Skills and Experience:

*Solid knowledge of, and experience with, Domain Name System (DNS).
*Good understanding of hardware firewalls.
*Excellent interpersonal skills - from floorwalking to board level.
*Good knowledge of Active Directory.
*Experience working with in-house or bespoke CRM systems is advantageous.

Desirable:

*Strong virtualisation experience using VMWare (esx / esxi / vSphere). Hyper-V is also desirable.
*Leadership or mentoring experience is advantageous.
*Relevant Certifications are highly desirable (MCSA / MCSE / MCTS / MCITP / CCNA / CCNP / CCIE).
