Credit Risk Analytics - Associate / AVP
Leading bank seeking Credit Risk Analytics professional paying up to £85k.
A global Investment Bank is seeking a Credit Risk professional with an analytics focus for their London offices, the role is paying up to £85,000.
This bank is one of the largest and most prestigious financial institutions which provides investment banking services, securities and investment management to a vast amount of clients. This bank has a cemented global presence and is seeking a Credit Risk professional to join their London offices and are paying up to £85,000.
A large amount of this role is based on financial services regulations, particularly Basel III, therefore you will need an in-depth knowledge of the financial services regulatory environment. Protecting the bank's capital is a focal point of this role hence a strong Credit Risk Associate/AVP is required for this position. You will be required to implement and analyse credit risk exposure as well as relaying this information to other teams in the bank. This position is heavily focused on developing risk - based methodologies and capital adequacy processes hence this role will require someone with a strong analytical background.
What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject is highly desirable for this role. Given the technical nature of the role you will need to have a minimum of three years' experience in credit risk, as well as strong experience of dealing with EU financial services regulations particularly Basel III. You will also need to have an analytical background.
