Who will I be working with? Héroux-Devtek is an international company specialising in the design, development, manufacture, integration, testing and repair and overhaul of landing gear and actuation systems and components for the Aerospace market. So, what will the role of UK Finance Manager entail? Reporting to the UK Assistant Finance Controller, you will manage two direct reports and be responsible for overseeing Héroux-Devtek’s UK balance sheet, controlling all statutory and group reporting, managing the relationship with internal and external auditors in addition to all payroll and taxation matters. You’ll also manage all financial control and reporting aspects of the Bolton site, a division of Héroux-Devtek with £2 million annual sales. In addition, a large aspect of this role will involve managing a variety of project work including: * Assessing and monitoring the financial impacts of actions * Evaluating alternative scenarios for structural changes (Make-or-buy, IRR, cost-benefit analysis) * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives * Supporting finance transformation activities in implementing improvements in systems, processes and organisation What will I need to be considered for this UK Finance Manager vacancy? * ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualification with 1st time passes, preferably ACA qualified from one of the ‘Big Four’ accountancy practices * Excellent academic record * High standard of IT literacy, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial * Superb analytical skills * Strong commercial awareness and business acumen * Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills * Enthusiastic, proactive and resilient approach, with the ability to adjust to a constantly changing environment Exposure to a Manufacturing/Engineering environment with ERP / MRP systems would be preferred, but not essential. What will I receive in return?
