A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a successful Premium Jewellery store within their high turnover store in Stratford.


The role requires a dynamic and confident assistant manager who can support the store manager in day-to-day running of the business, ensuring the store is covered at all times with the right staff members and that the all procedures are complied with in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting and ensuring instore training is implemented into daily activities
    Motivate employees and develop their skills; succession planning
  • Conducting staff reviews, investigations and disciplinary hearings when necessary
  • Working with the Store Manager & HR on recruitment of all employees
  • Managing sales performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure annual targets are met by driving the business KPI and customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining an excellent level of customer service at all times by monitoring your team on an ongoing basis and managing all customer complaints
  • Implementing and manage effective security procedures
  • Responsible for managing the daily banking process
  • Responsible for ensuring the store is maintained to a high standard
  • Promoting in store VM training, set expectations, supervise and oversee VM guidelines are met
  • Carrying out regular stock takes ad minimise loss through effectively managing deliveries



Person Requirements:

  • A previous Assistant Manager within a retail background
  • A strong background in all retail operations is essential for this role
  • Proven track record of driving sales in a commercially driven environment
  • The ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills; solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and motivational skills in order to establish a high-performance team
  • Organised and structured approach to work
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Well-presented and a brand ambassador
