A leading South-West London training company is recruiting for a new E-Learning Content Creator to expand its established team. Successful candidates must be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a mix of humanities and science and enjoy working with creativity, thinking outside the box.

Key responsibilities of this role will include

  • Your Key Styling/converting and preparing learning materials and resources in line with agreed templates and formats (print and digital), ensuring content meets the requirements of the house style and quality standards
  • Using appropriate editing software to treat video assets (including editing and rendering out video footage)
  • Using appropriate editing software to edit graphics, ensuring appropriate definition
  • Setting up Moodle modules
  • To assist with the administrative aspects of the production process by:
  • Proofreading and checking assets and courses to eliminate all errors
  • Preparing content for distribution to customer
  • Ensuring that materials are correctly filed and version control maintained
  • Maintaining the media asset and graphics library

To assist in ensuring the team works efficiently and effectively meeting quality and service standards and delivering its objectives by:

  • Working as part of the Course Development Team to ensure all team objectives and deadlines are met
  • Sharing knowledge and training colleagues where required
  • Ensuring the competent operation of all relevant systems and processes
  • Ensuring attention to detail in all duties
  • Assisting team members to meet their objectives as guided by the Course Development Team Leader
  • To liaise with and support the Course Development Team Leader as required to ensure the efficient use of time and overall performance of the team
  • To seek ways to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and cost effectiveness of the role
  • To perform administrative and other general duties within the department required for the effective day-to-day operation of the Course Development function

Key Skills Required

  • Educated to degree level.
  • High degree of computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office, Adobe editing software (InDesign, Premiere, Audition, etc.) and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience of using Moodle e-learning environments
  • Ability to understand basic html mark-up
  • Ability to use SCORM creation software (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and Adapt authoring tools)
  • Ability to set-up and maintain courses on e-Learning platforms
  • Experience of filming videos would be advantageous
  • Good command of the English language with the ability to spot spelling, grammatical and lay out errors
