CRM Data Manager
The Role The main purpose of the role is to provide ongoing data driven solutions to a fast paced and commercially focused business area (Database/CRM Marketing) within tight deadlines to ultimately drive the customer intelligence that drives sales - whilst providing support and analysis to wider marketing database & sales activities. Bringing a strong analytical capability to the role you’ll have a track record of analysing and interpreting key customer marketing Information, identifying positive and faltering commercial trends in the business to help drive effective campaigns. One of the immediate aims is to work with outbound teams to produce an efficient customer contact strategy that that will enhance segmentation activities, improve the customer journey and drive revenue opportunities. You’ll be a key link to cross functional stakeholders, gathering customer insight to develop new CRM campaigns and add value to existing initiatives. The Person Your business acumen and commercial awareness will be imperative but above all your role as CRM Data processional is crucial – the continual need to analyse, manipulate and interrogate data is essential to ensure accurate customer analysis and reporting is delivered in a timely fashion and commercial marketing campaigns are relevant to the overall business aim. Overview of accountabilities; Identify, interrogate, prepare and provide customer and/or prospect data from internal sources and external sources Ensure accurate, timely delivery to requirements, maintaining marketing database standards as directed Identify opportunities for the marketing database and associated applications to be developed to meet future requirements Ownership of sales solution tool designed to provide analysis of campaign activities and performance of data parcels / segments Partake in the data requirements planning process and work closely with other members of the team to ensure that all department and individual objectives are met Develop and maintain robust reporting processes to measure the success of campaigns and feedback to the business Support and make recommendations for data delivery solutions to support retention campaigns Continual work experience (minimum 4 years) within a data function is essential (ideally CRM / marketing) – having had hands on experience with relevant CRM databases / ESP platforms and data analysis & Business Intelligence tools (from' Business Objects, SPSS, SQL, SPSS). Naturally you'll need advanced MS Excel skills and an expert appreciation of marketing analytical principles and have to be coherent in working with the associated business stakeholders. Your analytical skills will be challenged on a daily basis so a background or success in Mathematics, Statistics, Management Science or Operation Research would be advantageous.
