"The vision and strong leadership of the Head teacher pervade the school. The ethos of high aspiration this creates is leading to a school which is rapidly improving.

“Pupils and students behave well and are respectful of their teachers. Systems are in place to manage the inappropriate behaviour of the minority, and are largely effective”.

REED Education are working in partnership with a Secondary School in West Oxfordshire in their quest to appoint an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to start in January 2018. NQT’s and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply and our School will welcome applications from Geography, History and RS Teachers.

This exciting position is at a large School of roughly 600 pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds. Experience of teaching children in an EAL setting would be beneficial but is not essential, and the right teacher will be eager to join a School that caters to a diverse and wide-ranging community.

The successful candidate will: -

• Have the ability to teach Maths from Year 7 upwards
• Be passionate about the subject areas and a good role model to students
• Be ambitious and want to further their career
• Be innovative and willing to lead departmental projects
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team of specialist teachers

The School will support the appointed teacher through an excellent Head Teacher and a strong leadership team, therefore the right candidate will be given all of the tools to succeed in an exciting teaching environment.
