KEY RESPONSIBILITIES § Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests for small groups and large numbers of residents, including games, parties and entertainment, encouraging relatives and visitors to be involved. § Arrange trips and excursions with varied destinations and purposes to involve as many residents in activity outside the confines of the Home. § Undertake fundraising activity for the Residents Fund. § Participate as an active member of the Resident’s Committee. § Understand personal responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety at Work legislation, fire and safety and evacuation procedures and is aware of the need to provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, particularly with regard to external activities. § Act accordingly towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident. § Contribute fully to team working, and is aware of the care staff routines necessary to provide continuity of service to residents. § Ensure supplies and equipment are stored in a safe and tidy manner.
