Senior Commercial Relationship Manager - Manchester
Client Summary: Our client is a prestigious and stable, extremely well capitalised Private Banking and Wealth Management business who have just embarked on an exciting journey to build a Commercial Banking business across the UK to compliment their current proposition. They already have a strong private bank client base and brand across the North West of England that they will of course leverage thoroughly for this new venture. Service is key and all Commercial Bank clients will receive a one to one Private Bank level of service and engagement.
Business Area Summary: The focus will be on winning new sustainable business from businesses across all industries that typically (although not exclusively) turn over between £1m and £30m PA. It will also benefit from London based industry specialist teams that can be called upon for their expertise as and when required.
Role Summary: You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers; you will have strong business development, relationship management and credit skills. You will be the 'face of the bank' in Manchester and the North West, drive the business forward, promote the brand via your current contacts and networking and take advantage of our clients appetite to win and write new sustainable business across the region.
You Will Need: You will need to be an experienced commercial / corporate banker with all the skills noted above. You will need to be a well known banker in and around Manchester and/or the North West with a strong professional network. You will need to be a proactive self starter who likes empowerment and exposure and who will work comfortably in a collegiate environment.
